Structa is Building a Co-Pilot for Real Estate Developers with Highline Beta
Every year, real estate developers and investors spend thousands of hours running investment and financial analyses on potential real estate projects. They need to aggregate multiple, disparate sources of data using archaic, old technology. And they don’t get the actionable insights they need to help them make better decisions. It can take weeks for one analysis, which leads to wasted time, money and missed opportunities. Often they’re conducting analyses on projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars, and they lack the necessary tools to do so quickly and effectively.
Structa aims to solve this problem. The company is building an AI co-pilot for real estate developers that will: (1) aggregate market analysis; (2) generate accurate and customizable financial models across various asset classes; and (3) generate deal financing presentation materials. The goal is to empower real estate developers and investors with the technology to make better decisions, faster.
The company was founded by Richard Baugh and Alexandra Panousis.
Richard has 8+ years of experience in the real estate investment and development industry. His last role before starting Structa was Director, Investments at Harbour Equity, where he managed a real estate private equity portfolio and oversaw a team of analysts in the creation of financial models for investment, performed deal structuring and drafted investment term sheets, joint venture management agreements, investor reporting, initial property closing documents and presented deals for investment to management. He saw firsthand how challenging it was for companies to conduct a proper investment and financial analysis on new projects.
Alexandra is an experienced executive, startup advisor and board member. Previously she was CEO of Dentsu Media Canada and CEO of Havas Village, overseeing large, fast growing media and creative agencies. She has a strong background in go-to market, sales and commercialization.
We see incredible potential in optimizing and automating processes that are manual and complex, especially in verticals that require significant domain expertise to understand. Structa will be launching in the Fall.
