As an active venture studio and VC investor, Highline Beta recognizes the immense potential within this space, which is why we launched AI Salon Toronto in 2024.
AI Salon, founded by Jeffrey Abbott of Blitzscaling Ventures, has rapidly expanded into a global initiative, launching 30+ local chapters and hosting 100+ events in 2024 alone. The mission? To build a global network of AI founders, builders, investors, and partners, to connect and collaborate.
At AI Salon Toronto, our thematic events showcase engaging content focused on the process of building and deploying AI-powered solutions. Designed to deliver high value experience and practical forum, our monthly events feature:
✅ Real-world use cases and best practices for AI builders from early stage startups to corporate innovators
✅ Startup demos showcasing cutting-edge AI applications
✅ Meaningful networking and open mic sessions to drive collaboration
In 2024 we hosted our first two AI Salon events. We brought together some of Toronto’s brightest AI builders through engaging discussions, startup showcases, and networking sessions. The events featured talks from Dwayne Forde, Co-Founder CTO of Mantle and Damian Tran, Co-Founder CTO of Minerva.
We’re kicking off the new year with our next AI Salon Toronto #3 Event on February 24th, 5:30 - 8:30 PM—featuring a fireside chat with Arunabh Dastidar, Co-founder and CEO of Leni. The event will be held at Highline Hub.
